The Hely mobility hub at De Koepel is opened and the first rides have been made. It is now possible for the residents of the Scheepmakerskwartier to book a car, e-cargobike, e-bike or regular bike via the Hely app.
Finding a parking space in Haarlem is easier said than done. That is why from now on, Haarlem will travel smart, fun and sustainable. The hub can be found at the Koepel prison. The goal of this new way of renting transport is to fight the parking pressure in the neighbourhood in an innovative way and in this way, encourage the need for shared mobility. Users of the app in other cities have already confirmed that they now feel less of a need to have a (second) car.
Hely wants to offer you a suitable form of transport for every ride, because you can book several types of transport via one app. Hely wants to ensure that you are flexible and no longer have to worry about maintenance, parking pressure or high monthly costs. Everything has been arranged, so they want to make shared mobility more accessible. By offering multiple forms of transport, residents can make a sustainable choice. For example grocery shopping with a cargo bike is a good alternative for the car.
Booking a form of transport is done via an app. With Hely, you know where you stand, with clear prices and one monthly invoice. You pay a fixed amount per month plus a fixed hourly rate, so that you can hit the road with peace of mind.
